This second structured survey gathers the perceptions of Canadian HR decision-makers and leaders in order to:

  • Identify the uses, efficiency and impacts of AI on work, jobs and the HR function.

  • Compare practices by company size and sector.

  • To provide a basis for strategic thinking for HR departments.

  • HR decision-makers (CHRO, HRD, VP HR, HR Directors, Heads of HR and Payroll departments).

  • HR professionals (recruitment, training, talent management, payroll, employee experience, total compensation, health and safety, organizational development, engagement).

  • HR consultants (responding with reference to their own company).

  • Institutional and academic (responding with reference to their own organization).

  • All sizes of organizations, all sectors of activity, and all Canadian provinces are included.

1- How many questions are in the Barometer?

There are 30 questions, available in either French or English, at your preference.

2- How long does it take to complete?

Approximately 9 minutes.

3- Are responses confidential?

Yes. The data collected remains anonymous. Consolidated statistics are analyzed by NexaRH’s scientific committee, comprising Valérie Fichelle, Jean-Baptiste Audrerie, and Virginie Bernal.

4- Will I have access to the results and the report?

Yes, but only if you provide your email address at the end of the questionnaire.

5- Who can participate?

All HR professionals working in Canada, including Canadian expatriates in overseas divisions.

6- Can I participate if I work in a province other than Quebec or Ontario?

Yes, all provinces are included.

7- Can I participate as a consultant?

Yes, provided you answer on behalf of your firm as an AI user, rather than on behalf of your clients.

8- Can multiple people from the same HR department complete the questionnaire?
Yes. Responses may vary depending on job level and specific HR function (Recruitment, Payroll, Compensation, Labor Relations, Talent Management, Health & Safety, Skills Development, etc.).

9- Can I share the survey link with HR colleagues?
Yes. Any HR professional, organizational practitioner, or consultant can participate.

10- Is the 1st AI and HR Barometer in Canada still available?
Yes. It received responses from 332 HR professionals. The report published in early 2026, titled "AI: Work Transformed at Accelerated Speed" is still available for free download here (56 pages, 15 contributors).

11- Is the Microsoft Forms questionnaire secure?

Yes. A Microsoft account is not required, you can resume the questionnaire while filling it out, mobile compatibility is available, and IP addresses are not recorded.
